And It’s Lift Off Into Aviation Careers

With new funding from the Department for Transport, we’re delighted to offer FREE aviation careers events throughout 2025.
These new events – dedicated to aviation – introduce students to industry professionals, challenge stereotypes, and open doors to careers they may never have considered.
In 2024, we reached over 80,000 students – this year, another 30,000 will have the same opportunity – particularly in disadvantaged areas.

What’s in it for students?
Aviation careers go beyond flying – including engineering, marketing, scheduling and air traffic control. Our Inspiring Aviation activities help students:
• Meet industry experts and gain proper world-of-work insights.
• Discover career ‘ways in’, including apprenticeships and university routes.
• Explore diverse roles and challenge stereotypes.

Next steps

Check out our upcoming virtual aviation events and sign up for as many live events as you like.

Use our database of aviation professionals to find role models for your own career plans and really inspire your students (sign in to your Inspiring the Future account with this link).

Find out more about Inspiring Aviation here.

We look forward to working with you – and together opening students’ eyes wide to the possibilities in aviation!
