Work Experience

Work experience gives students an opportunity to understand the workplace, develop employability skills, test ideas about future careers and build confidence.

Year 10

Year 10 students complete a one-week work-experience placement. Students are prepared through careers education, assemblies and employability activities. Further information, dates and deadlines are shared with students and families during the academic year.

Year 12

Year 12 students complete work experience as part of their preparation for university, apprenticeships, employment and other post-18 pathways. Students are expected to identify placements that support their interests and future plans.
